Paste

Keyboard shortcuts

Paste is designed to be used from the keyboard on Mac. These shortcuts let you access your clipboard history, paste items, and work with content quickly.

Four of the shortcuts below can be changed in Paste Settings → Shortcuts, where they are listed under their own names: showing or hiding Paste (Activate Paste, Shift-Command-V), Paste Stack (Activate Paste Stack, Shift-Command-C), and moving between pinboards (Show next Pinboard and Show previous Pinboard, Command-Right Arrow and Command-Left Arrow). The same pane also sets which modifier key Quick Paste and Plain Text mode use, so the Command in Command-1 through Command-9 and the Shift in Shift-Return and Shift-Command-1 through Shift-Command-9 can be swapped for another single key, and it resets every shortcut to its default. The rest of the shortcuts on this page are fixed and cannot be reassigned.
