Program Terms

Official terms for the Paste Affiliate Program, including commissions, payouts, and promotion guidelines.

1. Introduction

These Affiliate Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Paste Affiliate Program operated by Paste Team ApS, a company incorporated in Denmark (“Paste”, “we”, “us”).

By applying to or participating in the Affiliate Program, you (“Affiliate”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Affiliate Program is administered through a third-party affiliate platform currently operated by Tolt (“Affiliate Platform”).

2. Enrollment & Approval

Participation requires approval by Paste.

Paste reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

Approval may be revoked at any time.

3. Commission Structure

Affiliates earn 25% commission on the first payment of an annual Paste subscription purchased directly via pasteapp.io.

Commission applies only to direct website purchases.

Commission does not apply to:

Renewals
App Store purchases
Setapp subscriptions
Bundle deals
Monthly plan
Team plans
Refunds
Fraudulent transactions

Commission is calculated on net revenue received by Paste, excluding taxes, fees, discounts, and refunds.

4. Attribution

Paste uses a 30-day cookie attribution window.

If a customer clicks an Affiliate link and completes a qualifying purchase within 30 days, the sale will be attributed to the Affiliate.

Attribution is based on last-click logic unless otherwise specified.

Paste is not responsible for tracking errors caused by browser settings, ad blockers, or technical limitations.

5. Payout Timing

Commissions are subject to a 30-day approval period to account for refunds and chargebacks.

Approved commissions are paid monthly via the Affiliate Platform.

A minimum payout threshold may apply.

Refunds, disputes, or chargebacks may result in commission adjustments or reversals.

6. Refund Handling

If a purchase is refunded within 30 days, no commission will be paid.

If a refund occurs after commission has been paid, Paste reserves the right to deduct the corresponding amount from future payouts.

7. Affiliate Obligations

Affiliate agrees to:

Promote Paste in a truthful and non-misleading manner.
Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with applicable marketing and advertising laws.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

8. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates may not:

Bid on “Paste” or related branded keywords in paid advertising.
Impersonate Paste or represent themselves as employees or official representatives.
Use spam email marketing.
Engage in cookie stuffing or forced redirects.
Use deceptive marketing tactics.
Publish false reviews or misleading claims.
Offer unauthorized discounts.
Modify Paste brand materials without written permission.
Add affiliate links or tracking codes to previously published content that promoted or referenced Paste prior to acceptance into the Affiliate Program. The Affiliate Program applies only to promotional content created and published after the Affiliate has been approved. Paste reserves the right to withhold commissions generated from previously published content that is retroactively modified to include affiliate links.

Paste reserves the right to withhold commissions resulting from prohibited activities.

9. Paid Collaborations

Separate paid partnerships, sponsorships, or content collaborations are not governed by these Terms unless expressly agreed in writing.

Payment for sponsored content, campaigns, or other services does not automatically entitle the Affiliate to commission under the Affiliate Program.

Likewise, participation in the Affiliate Program does not entitle the Affiliate to paid sponsorships or campaign fees.

Any arrangement combining fixed compensation and affiliate commission must be explicitly agreed in writing between Paste and the Affiliate.

10. Intellectual Property & Trademark Use

Paste grants Affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use approved Paste brand assets solely for the purpose of promoting Paste under this program.

Affiliates may not alter logos, trademarks, or brand assets without written approval.

All intellectual property rights remain the property of Paste Team ApS.

11. Independent Contractor Relationship

Affiliate acts as an independent contractor.

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.

Affiliate has no authority to bind Paste.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate participation in the Affiliate Program at any time by providing written notice. Termination shall be effective immediately unless otherwise stated.

Paste may terminate participation immediately in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, misuse of brand assets, or other conduct deemed harmful to Paste.

Upon termination without breach, any approved and unpaid commissions earned prior to the termination date will be paid in accordance with the standard payout schedule. Pending commissions remain subject to the applicable approval and refund period.

If termination results from a violation of these Terms, Paste reserves the right to withhold or forfeit unpaid commissions and reverse commissions associated with improper conduct.

13. Limitation of Liability

Paste shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total commission paid to the Affiliate in the preceding 12 months.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Denmark.

15. Payment Processing

Commissions are processed and paid through a third-party platform currently operated by Affiliate Platform.

Affiliates are responsible for maintaining accurate payment and account information within the Affiliate Platform.

Paste is not responsible for delays, errors, or failures in payment processing caused by the Affiliate Platform or by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the Affiliate.

Participation in the Affiliate Program may require acceptance of the Affiliate Platform’s separate terms and conditions.

16. No Guarantee of Earnings

Participation in the Affiliate Program does not guarantee any specific level of income or performance.

Affiliate acknowledges that commissions depend on various factors, including traffic quality, audience engagement, and purchasing behavior, which are outside Paste’s control.

17. Assignment

Affiliates may not assign, transfer, sublicense, or otherwise delegate any rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of Paste.

Paste may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.

18. Data Protection

Each party shall comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in connection with its participation in the Affiliate Program.

Affiliate is responsible for ensuring that any marketing activities conducted in connection with the Program comply with applicable data protection regulations.
