Can’t paste to other apps

To paste directly to other applications, Paste requires access to the accessibility features of your Mac.

Sometimes (e. g., after an operating system update), the access may get taken away unintentionally, and you’ll need to re-enable Paste to access the accessibility features manually:

  1. Make sure that Paste items to active app is enabled in Paste Settings General.

  2. Go to System Settings Privacy & Security Accessibility, find and remove Paste from the list by selecting it and pressing the “- button.

  3. Restart your Mac.

  4. Launch Paste, try to paste any item to any app, and follow the instructions again.
