Option to disable changing the order after paste

The order in the paste stack changes after using an item. I like to copy 4-5 items and then just paste them back in another program. But when I select item 5 (the first one of the five items copied) it becomes the new item 1. I have to start hunting ... it would be nice if the item order does not change after paste.
