Support for Parsing Clipboard Data from Professional Video Post-Production Applications
Currently, if you copy something from Final Cut Pro (FCP), for example, Paste would show the clipboard item as "Unknown - Preview not available." In another clipboard manager, CleanClip, which is able parse clipboard data from FCP, it would actually show what was copied in FCP. I have attached a screenshot showing what 3 clipboard items from FCP look like in CleanClip vs Paste. Video post-production professionals copy a lot of non-traditional data from video editing apps and support for these clipboard data can be a huge benefit. To see how video professionals are already using Paste to manage non-traditional clipboard items from video editing apps, I recommend watching the video below by the FCP YouTuber Dylan Bates: https://youtu.be/0VIcEIdpkpU?si=3G0Of-lcbWoRePZp Note that I'm using FCP as an example because that's what I use; ideally, such support should be added for other video editing apps as well (e.g. DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro).
