Paste Stacks: Numbered list for order keeping

I input items into databases where keeping things in order is critical. I wish the pastes were numbered so you can instantly tell how many you have copied or how many you have left to paste. It would be invaluable because when I am pasting down columns, I need to make sure I am matching the pastes I did in another column. It would greatly help reduce errors. The numbered list should take into consideration of if you are copy/pasting based on oldest first (eg 10-1) or newest first (1-10) and allow options to have the list reflect that.
