Insert by keystrokes

I would like to have a function in Paste that does not paste the clipboard as whole text at once, but as the content keystroke by keystroke. I actually have a use case for this where inserting text as a whole repeatedly results in letter salad in a virtual machine. The amount of text at once seems to be too much, apparently.
