Choose a plan: subscription, Lifetime, Family, and Teams

Paste comes as a monthly or annual subscription, a one-time Lifetime purchase, a Family plan, or a Teams plan. You can buy from the App Store, directly from our website, or through Setapp, and every plan unlocks Paste across your Mac, iPhone, and iPad with continuous updates.

Subscription or Lifetime

The difference is how you pay, not what you get. Both unlock the full app on all your personal devices.

Monthly — pay as you go, month to month.
Annual — billed once a year, the best value of the recurring plans.
Lifetime — paid once, with no recurring charge.

Every plan starts with a free 7-day trial. Download Paste from our website and the trial starts right in the app, with no account and no card. On the App Store, the trial comes with starting a subscription through Apple instead. See the pricing page for current prices.

If you are deciding, pick a subscription for the lowest entry cost, and Lifetime when you would rather pay once and never think about renewals. Either way, you can try Paste free before you choose.

I bought annual but want Lifetime

Lifetime is a separate, one-time purchase, and there is no credit for the time left on your subscription. You have two options:

Switch at no extra cost — cancel your subscription so it does not renew, keep using Paste until your paid period ends, then buy the Lifetime plan. See Manage your subscription to cancel.
Switch right away — if you renewed recently, request a refund of your current subscription, then buy Lifetime. For an App Store subscription, request the refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — the decision is Apple's. For a website purchase, contact us and we can refund a recent order. Setapp does not sell Lifetime, so buy it on the App Store or our website and cancel your Setapp subscription separately.

Is there a Family or Teams option

Yes. Pick Family to share Paste with the people in your household, and Teams to give a group of coworkers their own seats.

Family — available on the App Store. Share Paste with up to six people, including you, through Family Sharing, and start with a free 7-day trial. Lifetime does not include Family Sharing, so choose Family if sharing is what you need.
Teams — purchased from our website, priced per seat. Teams covers multiple seats with volume discounts and a single invoice.

Where to buy

There are three channels, and you manage your plan wherever you bought it. Whichever you choose, your plan covers Paste on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad — signed in with the same Apple Account, one purchase activates them all. The channel below is only where you buy, not which devices you get.

App Store — Monthly, Annual, Lifetime, and Family. Buy in the app on Mac or iOS, and it unlocks across your devices automatically. Lifetime is in the App Store too, not just the website: on iPhone and iPad it appears in the app's purchase screen right alongside the subscriptions, so you can make the one-time purchase there without switching to a browser.
Directly from the website — Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime for personal use, plus the Teams plan. Download Paste and try it free for 7 days first, no card needed. When you buy, you get a license key to activate on your Mac; your iPhone and iPad then activate automatically, signed in with the same Apple Account and iCloud Keychain on. Setapp — Paste is included in a Setapp subscription at no extra cost. On Mac, install it from the Setapp app; on iPhone and iPad, install Paste from the App Store and unlock it with a Setapp plan that includes iOS. Setapp doesn't offer the Lifetime or Family plans.
