Collaborate with Shared Pinboards
Shared Pinboards make collaboration in Paste simple—whether you’re gathering ideas, saving references, or organizing project materials. You can invite others to work together with you, all in one shared space, on both macOS and iOS devices.
Paste uses Apple’s native iCloud sharing, so everything stays private and secure. Only the people you invite can view or edit your shared pinboards, and you always remain in full control of access.
Share a Pinboard
You can share any pinboard and invite collaborators directly from Paste on Mac or iOS devices. Collaborators need to have Paste installed and be signed in with iCloud to join your Shared Pinboard.
Right-click (on Mac) or long-tap (on iOS) the pinboard you want to share.
Select Share Pinboard from the menu.

Set the permissions. You can make Pinboard read-only, invitation based, or allow anyone with a public link to access it.
Choose how to send the invite — eg via Messages, Mail, or just copy a link to the Pinboard.

Manage Participants
Once a Pinboard is shared, you can easily manage participants and their permissions at any time.
To do this, right-click (on Mac) or long-tap (on iOS) the Pinboard, then select Manage Shared Pinboard from the menu.

Here, you can invite or remove participants. You can also adjust permissions to control who can access the Pinboard—either restrict access to specific people you invite or allow anyone with the link to join. Additionally, you can set the Pinboard to read-only or allow collaborators to add and delete items.
Changes apply instantly and sync across all participants. You remain the owner of the pinboard and always control who has access.
Stop Sharing a Pinboard
You can stop sharing any Pinboard at any time. To do this, right-click (on Mac) or long-tap (on iOS) the Pinboard, select Manage Shared Pinboard, then choose Stop Sharing.
When you stop sharing, the Pinboard and all its items will be immediately removed from all participants’ devices. If you only want to remove specific participants, you can do that from Sharing Settings without stopping sharing for everyone.
